THE BOARD

The Heart Behind the Restoration

We bring decades of professional expertise in law, finance, development, communications, and community organizing. But more than credentials, we bring personal legacy. Many of us have family stories intertwined with the very blocks we're restoring. This isn't just a job—it's our responsibility to the ancestors who came before and the generations who will inherit what we build today.

Every decision we make is guided by the Community vision, the Community values, and the community voices. This is what it looks like when we control our own healing.

Anthony Deloney

Board Member

We are proud to highlight Williams & Russell Board Member, Anthony Deloney, an extraordinary leader, North Portland native and community advocate, who has dedicated nearly 30 years to the success of youth and families in Northeast Portland.

Starting his journey at Self Enhancement, Inc. (SEI) in 1996 as a Youth Service Coordinator, Anthony’s exceptional leadership quickly led him to roles as Program Manager and Youth Services Director. Today, he serves as SEI’s Director of Business Development, helping the organization grow and expand its reach. Under his guidance, SEI has become Portland's leading multi-service organization, impacting over 17,000 individuals annually through culturally-specific services.

Anthony's work has impacted SEI's success, with a 98% high school graduation rate among students and 85% of them moving on to post-secondary education. As Development Director, he led the team to exceed fundraising goals, raising an impressive $2 million annually. His leadership continues to shape SEI’s service model and its ongoing success.

Outside of his work at SEI, Anthony is a father, a foster parent for over 25 years, and a passionate advocate for his community. He serves on the board of Project Lemonade, which supports foster youth. He is on the advisory board of the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute, where he advocates for increased African American participation in medical decision-making. Additionally, he is the founder and board chair of Numberz.fm, Portland’s only Black-founded and Black-operated radio station.

We are lucky to have Anthony's dedication, passion, and leadership as a valued Board Member. His commitment to expanding opportunities for all people is inspiring, and we look forward to seeing the continued impact of his work in the community!
