This isn't just a job—it's our responsibility to the ancestors who came before and the generations who will inherit what we build today.

Dana Fuller Shephard
Board Member
Dana Fuller Shephard, a 4th generation Portlander, was selected as the Executive Director of Portland Housing Center in January 2023, only the second Director in the agency’s 33-year history.
Dana brings a wealth of experience and spirit to our team. Her commitment to creating and ensuring access to homeownership and her direct experience with the work in the City’s Homeownership Preference Policy over the past 9+ years have been vital in guiding Williams & Russell CDC through the complexities of developing sustainable housing solutions, with the intention of serving our long-time Portland residents.
Under Dana’s leadership, the Portland Housing Center has made significant strides in empowering individuals and families to achieve homeownership. Aside from leading a CDFI, Mortgage Brokerage, Counseling agency with a team of highly skilled and extremely passionate folks, Dana serves on two National Committees, US Bank’s Community Advisory Committee and Key Bank’s National Advisory Council, and loves to spend time with family.
Dana’s insights and expertise are crucial as we work together to create more affordable housing options in our community.
