THE BOARD
The Heart Behind the Restoration
We bring decades of professional expertise in law, finance, development, communications, and community organizing. But more than credentials, we bring personal legacy. Many of us have family stories intertwined with the very blocks we're restoring. This isn't just a job—it's our responsibility to the ancestors who came before and the generations who will inherit what we build today.
Every decision we make is guided by the Community vision, the Community values, and the community voices. This is what it looks like when we control our own healing.

Board Member
Mr. Faison founded Faison Construction in December 2004, and since then, he has partnered with some of the region's most respected contractors, including Walsh Construction, Skanska, Hoffman, Wildish Standard Paving, Hamilton Construction, and Fortis.
His projects are a testament to his expertise and dedication, including:
Columbia Villa Project (2005) with Walsh Construction, where Faison Construction performed over $650,000 worth of sidewalks and building slabs.
ODOT I-405 Project (2009) with Kerr Contractors, where they placed over 170,000 tons of granular backfill and 13,000+ square feet of sidewalks in just 46 hours.
Pioneer Courthouse Square Vault Infill Project (2010) with the City of Portland, where they placed over 180 yards of concrete and 9,000 cubic feet of spray foam under the square while maintaining full public access.
His expertise in construction and community building is a true asset as we work to revitalize the Williams & Russell site and create lasting opportunities for our community. We are lucky to have his experience and dedication guiding our mission!
