Phillip feels privileged to support Portland to build a brighter future with Williams Russell CDC. Phillip is the CFO for Williams & Russell CDC, where his firm oversees all income, expenses, and financial systems for the organization and its projects. Through Phillip Chavira Corp, founded in 2023, he provides affordable, values-aligned CFO services to nonprofits and community-focused organizations, helping build sustainable financial infrastructure. Phillilp's past roles include Finance Director at Point Reyes National Seashore Association and Executive Director at Intiman Theatre in Seattle, where he led access initiatives and retired $2.7 million in debt. He holds an MBA from Fordham University, is a Seattle Mayor’s Arts Award recipient, and a Broadway Tony nominee.
